A story about a 14 year old bot named Daisuke Niwa whoes family is art thevies. On his 14th birthday he is then able to take on the family job as the phantom theif Dark. However the only way he can turn into dark is if he starts to have romantic feelings for a girl. once he starts feeling this way there is just about no way to stop the transformation. With school and the cops after Dark its best to keep hi identity a secret , but what happens when he gets these feeling during school? how does he stop the transformation for good? To make things even more complicated his class mate Satoshi Hiwatari has even started to catch on...

There are currently 10 books in this series and still more to come. i'll try to figure out when book 11 comes out and the dvds are slightly differnt in order from the series adn some stuff that happens in the movie isn't in the book and vis versa.

Daisuke Niwa (Dice-kay Ne-wa)	14 year old middle schooler. likes Risa as more then a friend (more like crush) and turns into Phantom theif Dark when he feels "romantic"
Dark	Many girls think he's hot and he is something of a ladys man. he likes risa and only comes around when daisuke fells a certain way. he is really about 300yrs old but has the apperance of a 17-18 year old.
Risa Harada (re-sa Ha-ra-da)	A middle school student at Azumano middle school adn when of daisukes classmates and friend. even though he likes her she doesn't feel the same about him.
Riku Harada (re-ku)	Risa's twin sister. she likes Daisuke and thinks that Dark is a perv. she has a completly differnt personality then Risa. she is also one of Daisukes friends and classmates.
Satoshi Hiwatari (sa-toe-she He-wa-tar-e)	He has already graduated from highschool and collage and yet still goes to middle school? he is a enemy of the Niwa family seeing how the Niwa family steels art from his family. he is a tamer just like Daisuke only he transfroms when Krad says it's time to even tho Satoshi trys to stop the transformation and yet it seems Daisuke and Satoshi are becoming friends?
Wiz (pronounced wi-th)	Is the family "pet" you could say adn is just as old as Dark. he can trnsform into any thing and is also Darks wings that make him fly. he resembles a rabbit when himself and Daisuke teaches him to talk futher in the book.
