Do you beleive in the Lunar Race? Mahiru Shiraishi is the desndent to a princess that was to marry a member of the Lunar Race. Not knowing this, she had a weird "ability", she could bring people luck just by them touching her. Later on in the book she finds out that this Lunar Race which is a group of demons needs her help because she has the power to give them the power of a full moon on a new moon or any night for that matter. also she can feel the presence of the tear drops of the moon which are needed for the Lunar Race. but what about Mitsuru? he seems to have a hate for her tho she doesn't know why...every time she touches him he turns into his demon form. why is this? is he going to try and kill her? are they going to get the teardrops of the moon before the cops can stop them from taking back what is rightfully theres? is Mitsuru going to live after he was knocked out with gas???

Mahiru Shiraishi (Ma-he-ru She-ra-e-she)	She is in junior high school. she can draw out the hidden powers of the lunar race and is the desendent of the princess.
Mitsuru Suou (Met-su-ru)	He is a tengu and one of the Lunar Race. he hates Mahiru and doesn't trust anyone. he also dislikes the HUman race its self.
Nozomu Moegi (No-zo-mu Mo-e-ge)	He is a Vampire one strong enough to even walk in the light. he loves ladies.
Akira Yamabuki (A-ker-a Ya-ma-boo-key)	He is a werewolf. he is a good cook and loves life.
Misoka Asagi (Me-so-ka A-sa-ge)	A fox demon. he is kinda the leader and is calm all the time, and yea he is a guy (truthfully i thought it was a girl at first i saw him XD)
Kimiteru Kusakabe (Ke-me-te-ru Ku-sa-ka-bay)	is the detective. he has been trying to catch the "moonlight bandits" who is the Lunar Race (charaters above) adn trying to stop them from getting all the teardrops of the moon.
